Pain
Loneliness
Brings me to my knees
The screams of our planet
The screams of our people
All our people
Dying from godless attacks
From the powerful leaders
The leaders of countries
Ours, Theirs , Everyone’s
As they take our religion
Take our children
Take our souls
The sounds come louder and louder
Tearing at my soul
Ripping at my heart
Scattering my mind
As they take and take
We slowly die
While they rise
Rise to power
To take all we have
Even our God
If we continue to let them
