Impostor Syndrome
I was immersed in dim light thinking it was already bright for it was not day but the darkest of night with nobody else in sight.

At night I lived but daylight I died.

At night I had no bound but twilight I had to hide.

I was the werewolf only in the presence of moonlight.

I was the vampire vulnerable to sunlight.

At night I was the knight in shining silver armour but daylight I was that slave who prayed for salvation.

At night I laughed until I cried but not daylight for the Sun shall burn fueling the fear that I might just not have any real talent.

I took too much pride in my meagre achievements but I knew that deep inside I was nothing compared to them.

I shone at the pitch-black night like the moonlight but came day came my impostor syndrome.
