I feel my heart is wrenching and ask myself is it all worth it? The pain... the crying... the anguish...

What we had was incomparable
The love we shared was undeniable.
But what you did is unforgivable.
Years of sacrifice, compromise and promises
Years of growth, learning and choices.
Yet you saw it fit to step out on us
You saw it fit to invite her in
Now I am the one who has to choose
Him, me, you...us
Our son, our baby, my heart in human form
I must choose to stay for his sake
Or leave for my peace of mind
Is my love for him worth it?
The pain, the hurt, the anguish
Of having to look at you each day
If I choose to stay
Is my hatred for you worth it?
To have him grow up without both his parents
If I choose to go
I hope you're happy now
Knowing that you wrecked a good thing
For a few moments of pleasure
Now I'm the one who has to choose
Which version of me I want our son to remember.
