Running, I go running
Through the crowd, pass those streetlights
This was me, chasing those nothings that felt like lightnings

I ran and ran 'till my soles stung,
Thinking you might look my way and stop
But dang, you did, but did not wait

Tired of panting, I stopped as rain kept pouring
Staring at me on the puddle that droplets kept jumbling

Might as well enjoy the rain and sing this pain
Hopeful to the day I find me again

But then and there, you tap me
You change the rain and break those unending chains

Now I see no crowd, I see no stops
I know, with you, I can walk a mile
On my knees, reaching for the sky

Life is fleeting, but I just knew time with you will be lasting.
