In uniform, they stand and serve,
Their hearts and souls, they do not deceive.
Through battles fierce and wars so long,
Their courage and strength, they do not wrong.
But behind the scenes, a different tale,
Of pain and sacrifice, they do not hail.
The scars they bear, both seen and unseen,
The memories that haunt, the dreams unsewn.
The weight of duty, the burden they carry,
The price they pay, for the freedom they Barry.
The tears they cry, the fears they face,
The love they miss, the lives they can't replace.
But still they serve, with honor and grace,
Their dedication, a beacon in this place.
For though their pain may go unappreciated,
Their service is a sacrifice, that will not be defeated.
So let us remember, those who serve with pride,
And honor their sacrifices, side by side.
For though their pain may go unseen,
Their service is a legacy, that will forever be gleaming.
