A sunny day
Sunlight filtering through the leaves
A warmth that compliments the beautiful trees
A sunny day but not too much
A day that's not melting to the touch
In this peaceful scene, a gentle breeze,
A calming symphony of rustling leaves
My heart is filled with pure delight,
A moment of serenity, so warm and bright
As I breathe in the fresh, clean air
I look over, and am met with a deer's stare
I smile as I notice it's small little tail
It follows it's mama, giving me a small wail
I think of my mom and give her a call
As she answers I hear her walking down a hall
Perhaps it's time to let people back into my life
And maybe one day I'll find myself a wife
I hang up the phone, a suffocating weight off my chest
At talking over the phone, I never was the best
Nature guided my heavy heart
And showed me that it's time for a brand new start
