THE FORGAVEN

The Forgaven

As I sit and gaze adrift,
searching for a Shift,
Considering all of my mishaps,
& those by which fell corpse Stiff.

For I am human and no better,
nor stranger captive Together,
Without a shield of Grace's umbrella,
to cover in sins stormy Weather.

Shaped from a fallen mistake,
with a flooded conscience of Iniquity,
Found although almost drowned,
by a state of Ambiguity.

Longing for an escape,
that I discovered while in Search,
Smothered by the dirt,
of horrors beckoning from my Birth.

But I found written in Blood,
a covenant sealed by Death,
That offered a reward of Life,
when all Hope was lost in Breath.

For although I'm Tainted by the past,
and haunted by a Ghost,
Of shadows screeching in a speech,
leaving no words for me to Boast.

For my eyes are swollen with tears,
and my heart shivers with Fears,
As I await the sound of Victory,
to herald from the Trumpeteers.

But without the acknowledgment,
and the Confession of a Change,
The conflict of the concept,
becomes Consequential and Strange.

For a Selection without an Election,
only serves as an Exception,
Because there is no Protection,
from the Correction of Rejection.

For the correspondence of Empathy,
has no importance of Relativity,
Due to the inefficiency of consciousness,
and the lack of accessible Ability.

Because the reality of fact,
in all fairness of the Plight,
Denotes a disregard of emotions,
which gives room to a disdainful Sight.

So therefore it is imperative,
that I stay humbly Commandeered,
So that my rectitude of conduct,
is not by a hot iron Seared.

But in continual returning,
and adherence to Acceptance,
I can stay within the grasp,
of the minutest Penance.

And because of His willingness,
to always cleanse my Misbehaving,
By Repentance I'm once again inclined,
and I become fashioned as the Forgaven.
