Drowning in the ocean,
We decided to hold
each other’s hands.
Initially, friends
Ending up as lovers,
We decided to be best friends.
In the era of,
“No one stays forever”
We decided to win the toss.
We hardly spent hours
And ended up spending lifetime,
Engagement ring made his name.
It was the promise that made life time,
Standing by me,
he made me his lifeline.
Journey changed its way,
Destiny made its way.
Hoping and you wishing the best,
We drowned in the water
That made our name as the
oceans made its waves.
“Oh my lovely couple,
It was beautiful seeing you together
as the best couple who didn’t leave
their hands even at the bottom
of the ocean !! I’ll see you again.”
The fairytale left,
It was like a dream but when we
pinched each other,
it was a beautiful reality.
We came out of the ocean and
hugged each other and walked
by the side of the ocean.

Everything around lighted up,
Just to welcome us
in the beautiful journey of life.
It was no less than a beautiful date.
