Glowing
In the ember's afterglow,
Meet me after dark,
Where the ancient rivers flow,
And sky from land breaks 'part.
When Twilight dances 'cross the clouds, in her dress of orange,
Handsome purple Sky's waiting to catch her in his arms.
In snow or rain, gale or shine,
We'll ride the seasons like the tide.
We'll greet the dawn with kisses-
melting, and salute each evening, a toast to my racing heartbeat!
Laugh until your ribs are sore. Spin and soar, then laugh some more!
Yes, meet me after dark, and fade with me to morning light. Then keep me warm, all aglow throughout the night,
for all the days, for the rest of my life.
