i looked at him, trying to find a resemblance of his innocence.
'to total unrecognizable, he has taken the fall' my heart squealed but unheard.

he turned towards me and said "I feel things now".
"their love was full of toxicity. it scarred me and i wanted to scare them off. now, everybody is scared of. me" he continued as he takes a sip of alcohol, grinning from ear to ear.
he feels freedom but from sanity.

"aren't you scared?" he asked gazing deep into the lightless streets of Oizys.
i smiled as we exchanged a gaze.

laughters roared both sides of the empty street, echoed through the trees and dried leaves rattled as the summer breeze seek its way to the surface.

he takes another sip of alcohol and i, coffee. both smiling as we needed no more words but felt the souls of each other's.


and perhaps, total insanity was still a few steps away.
