A Man With No Home
A man without a home, he roams the street,
No place to rest, no bed, no sheet,
He's like a leaf, the wind's retreat,
With no roots to ground, no place to greet.

Once he had a home, like you and me,
A place to laugh, to love, to be free,
A roof to watch the sunrise, so heavenly,
And feel the wind's dance, so joyfully.

But now his home is rubble and dust,
All that's left are memories to trust,
Like a shipwrecked sailor in the ocean's thrust,
He wanders the streets, with a heart that's crushed.

Yet hope remains, like a seed in the ground,
A new home, a new life, can still be found,
Like a bird that builds its nest, so profound,
A man can find his home, in a new surround.
