Blue skies, empty so soon, I stare so hard but it's still devoid of the moon
Can't find your reflection tonight but what's this sensation in my heart?
Are you staring out the window, are you searching the stars?
Have you reached a crescendo,
Or is your heart still holding on to ours?
I go for a run early at morning, i get to see the sunrise just over the mountain crest.. I need to remind myself that somehere in the world, our son is nestled into your chest.
They say distance is a barrier too hard to cross
But we learnt to build a bridge and get across
It isn't the time apart that gets to me
It's just a simple math, i miss a big part of me
And in times like this, i really appreciate the night
Coz whether i open or close my eyes, the universe brings u to my sight
