So, here I am telling of a time that changed me, saved me, and even rearranged me
It's a cautionary tale of sorrow and strife Looking into the wide abyss
This is just an endless void searching for a reason to chose life
Life over a drunken stoop or some drugged-out daze
Brought on from the hands of those who would claim to love you
Yet be the weavers of your darkest day
Leaving you in a heap in darkness so fucking deep you lookout for any signs or reason
But fret not, for this story ends well
because people will come into your life
Lifting you out of this hell and for me
Well that would be my wife who gave me an amazing reason to choose life
