Stranded in the vast ocean,
There is no shore in sight.
Like a big ship I am,
Filled with sadness,
I go wherever the waves take me,
Not knowing where I am.
Everywhere I can see
Is water.
I waited and waited
For something, someone
To come and save me
But that didn't happen.
Haven't seen anyone for a long time.
Sometimes I feel there is some other ship
In the distance far away
But they won't help me
Even if I sent the signal to rescue me
They don't care.
A lot of them know that I'm here,
Many were here when I arrived
But slowly they all left.
Slowly I can see,
The water is getting dangerous out here.
Nothing much I can do now.
Just waiting for the destined iceberg to come
So that I can sink peacefully.
