I'm a work in progress
Sometimes to my old self I regress

Be patient with the work being done
Sometimes I stumble on this Christian run

Like when being wronged, I don't always turn the other cheek
Like when I'm suppose to be quiet and not suppose to speak

For years I've lived a life not doing whats right in God's sight
Now I'm trying not to depend on my strength but on God's might

Please be understanding to any shortcoming
I'm still trying to walk in the light of who I'm becoming
