To say the least,
I'm in love.
I'd always dreamed
Of it when I was
Young,
And it's hard to
Believe that this
Is actually my life.
I never thought that
It was possible
To get lost in
Someone's eyes,
Or feel like you're
Flying
When you kiss them,
Or for life to seem
Like a fairy-tale.
He was my first kiss,
After all.
I had had a crush
on him since the
beginning of eighth
grade, and little did
I know he liked me
too. one day,
I had finally gotten
up the courage to
tell him how I felt,
and the next day
during lunch he came
up to me and
kissed me.
it's hard to describe
how it felt.
on the outside
it may have just
been lips touching lips,
but on the inside
these
breath-taking
blue
butterflies
fluttered in my stomach,
and I felt as if
I were flying.
I felt so lucky
when he asked me
to be his girlfriend.
later on in the week,
he asked me
out on a date,
and I wore red
to match the roses
he gave me.
he started coming
over to my house,
to meet my parents,
and my sister,
later on.
I met his parents
as well,
and they seemed
to like me as well.
our second date
was at my house,
so that I could
show off my
cooking skills.
he loved the food,
and after the
second date,
I started to
watch videos
on how to properly
kiss.
as we grew
closer together,
our kissing became
more frequent
and I had my
first kiss in the rain.
It was the most
perfect thing ever.
I thought I couldn't
be any happier,
until he gave me
a promise ring.
I was officially
the happiest girl
in the world.
