Longing
Dear father
You nurture me with love.
Thought me values those levels with royal.
I am glad but
This is not the journey.
I want to travel.
The expensive garment that veiled around me
Just to attend balls and dance with possible suitors who you are
Hunting as your right-handed man
I cannot sing a hymn or play a harp.
Or be an ambassador for the country.
I don’t want to be a prize.
Won for lust or power.
I can’t lift the burden of womanhood.
When I can’t lift my own
My wishes are simple.
I want to sail the world.
Through The land, the sea, the mountain
Through roads and the canals
With a sword hooked to my waist
See the world not from scripture from library.
Learning lesson through blood and pain
And die a death a smile I will never.
Get from the lonely castle wall.
But I don’t have the courage.
To voice out myself
So, I write in this on a paper and call it my faith.
