AMAZING GRACE
Amazing grace! how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me;
I once was lost, but now I'm found; was blind but now I see.
* Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fear relieved;
How precious did that grace appear that hour I first believed!
* Through many dangers, toils and snares I have already come:
'Tis grace that brought me this this far, and grace will lead me home
* Yes when this heart and flesh shall fail, and mortal life shall ceize,
I shall posses within the veil a life of joy and peace
(A hymn S&S 894: amazing grace)
