closing argument.
Even though this poem is digital, I hope you get a papercut,
In heartbreak's wake, lessons gathered, somewhat.
Pity, not hate, is what fills my core,
For you, a path unwise, I can't ignore.

Your critiques sharp, my flaws you'd explore,
Yet mine for you, I gently closed the door.
In the tapestry woven of memories and pain,
Life's intricate dance, its loss and gain.

In the end, as I gaze at our past,
Not bitterness lingers, but shadows cast.
A journey we had, now diverged in its course,
Wishing you growth, finding your source.

So here I release what was held once before,
You were too busy pointing out my flaws, while I just overlooked yours.
