In the tranquil of a lovely evening,
I sat in a corner observing,
the sun going down in the beautiful sunset,
with a cool breeze swooshing round the corner,
gently caressing my body.

Calling aloud to the quacks of the mother hen,
Chicks in their chitchatter,
Slowly retired for the day,
and a tiny mouse in a rubble,
quietly nibbled away,
stealthily guardng against prying eyes.

A bird was cooing nearby,
a couple of meters high,
green plants in a standstill,
anticipating nightfall,
mosquitoes danced happily,
singing their unwelcomed tune in my ears,
and ready to plunge their straws into the life giving stream.

In the distance,
a crowd of excited kids chattered happily,
the shrill cries of the returning bird echoing loudly,
distant horns of automobiles in a frenzy,
and there I was,
enjoying the scenery.
