The sky was grey,
The earth drunk from rain,
The doors shut in my face,
I had to retire to my room were light and darkness fights to reign,
Alone with my pain,
Feeling the doubt in my vein,
Scared for my life I might take,
Pull the trigger says my brain,
Nobody cares my demon says,
But I don't want to die I want to fight to see another day,
I had to call someone to save me from this Shame,
I dialed Jesus and He came without delay,
I quickly stole a hug before he left me to pray,
I had to steal a hug from Jesus to save me from the grave.
