Shadowed Mirror
As I am but a shadow of myself,
You, too, become me,
As does he,
And all of you and they.

In the depths of sorrow's embrace,
I am singular,
Only unto myself,
No he, nor you, nor they in my realm.

When sorrow shared, burdens lessen,
In joy shared, abundance grows,
Yet, who's willing to share sorrows?
Who shuns joy's embrace?

Let the world exist without me,
For I am whole within myself,
Leave me be, in solitude,
For within myself, there is only me.
