A truly sad thought visited me
At a moment of planning a trip
I quietly thought

" Should I buy a souvenir?"

A chocolate candy?
A cute pin?
Maybe a drink or a snack?

Only after that did I think again

" But for whom?"

As there was no one to wait for my return.
