As a writer
I feel I'm born differently
I feel the universe gave birth
To the voice within me
I feel what needs to be said
And the voice that needs to say it
Can only come from me
As a writer
I feel everything completely
The wind in the trees
Blows so poetically
The sky so blue and beyond
She's so infinite and limitless
And beautiful…even when she cries
As a writer
I feel most things retrospectively
I look to the future and am excited
But, the past is an influence on what's to come
We should learn from things we've done
Learn and adapt to something new
To enhance our thinking to be our greatest self
As a writer
I bleed ink and unheard voices
I don't go silent when my demons arise
I just learn to speak a different language
I learn to listen to others and let their voices be heard
All the while…
Mending the silent voice of my inner child
As a writer
I know I still have work to do
I have to say everything
Even if my readers are few
I will bleed on this paper and make words with my fingers
You will never stop me
Because I am a writer
