Fragments of a Fractured Heart
In a world of fleeting emotions I existed,
Where a girl played with my heart, unassisted.
Her words, like a dagger, pierced deep into my soul,
Leaving behind scars that won't ever be whole.
She toyed with my feelings, with no regard for me,
Leaving me shattered, lost, and completely empty.
In her eyes, I was merely a game to be played,
While inside, my heart slowly decayed.
Each touch and each smile meant nothing at all,
Just false promises and a heart destined to fall.
She danced with my emotions, keeping me blind,
While silently breaking the ties that I thought we'd bind.
I held on tightly, hoping for a change of heart,
But in the end, it was clear we were worlds apart.
She played with fire, not caring who got burned,
Leaving behind a love that will never be returned.
So now I'm left here, with a heart full of pain,
Haunted by memories that drive me insane.
But I'll rise from the ashes, stronger than before,
