TITLED: THE INVISIBLE ENEMY

The desire is where the stomach pleasure will be,
I look at life and see;
People fight for their well being.
Some fight diseases,
Others fight demons;
But the majority fight the invisible enemy.
An enemy that cannot be seen,
But its print in the human being;
Is humongous and painful like a scorpion sting.
An enemy that turns man into a beast,
Later reward him a feast!

A feast of deceit,
And women keep burying their kids;
Man finds peace in his fellow man's defeat,
Thus the cycle repeats.
We still in the enemy's craws,
Only to leave the young generation in ruins;
With no idea...
