dreams are whisper out of deepest desires
visions of hope and heart that aspires
in slumbers embrace ,our souls take flight
chasing stars that shine with gentle light
but nightmare creeps like shadows
dark and cold
fears and doubt that our heart would unfold
they haunt our sleep with eerie ghostly mind
and fills out mind with terrors endless night
yet even in fear our spirit can find
a strength to rise and leave the darkness behind
for dreams and nightmare both reveal our soul
and,their depths
our truest self
