THE CHALLENGING DUTY
Mom used to wake me up for school.
I cried, she made sure I kept my cool.
Every single class session made me furious.
As I wasn't ready to be serious.

Now, Mum is no more and so it's my duty.
I hate school yet I have to go, it's a pity.
Getting back from school was a pleasure,
With no Mum at home was a displeasure.

For as better as I could be,
And all that I had seen,
Was a challenge I could not bear.
Yet, I had to gather boldness and face the fear.

A pioneer to my family,
Living a life rightly,
Which Mum trained me to be.
Blessed to thy name indeed.
