I carve out
My future
In my mind
Right now.
My eyes closed,
My heart beating fast
As I explore
All of the wonderful things
I long for
Within the colours
Of my imagination.
I live it all,
Designing all of the beautiful things
That are meaningful to me.
Then I sit back
Safe in the knowledge
That somewhere,
On some plane,
At some level,
Those dreams
Have been cast
And another me
Somewhere else
Is living
My dreams.
