Leaning against you, lulled by your song,
I close my eyes and breathe slow,
Smelling your hair
redolent of lavender
falling onto my face,
forgetting what date's on the calendar,
Rejoicing the sun's rays..

...Being happy that simple:

The sun's stroking your skin;
With delight heart's brimmed;
Hence you're getting dimples...

...And I'm losing sanity;

Losing the count of times
of replaying the melody:
Chirping sparrows joining your voice mellow,
And you're singing "And it was all yellow".

Strangers are running fast to and fro.
Seems that the destiny's knocked at my door,
saying that I was eventually blessed;
That's how I met you amidst hasty steps.

Now as they're passing by; I don't notice;
You're the only muse praised by poets.
Falling in slumbers, I can't hear others;
I'm an artist
dreaming of you on my canvas.

Leaning against you, lulled by your song,
Seems that I've found the meaning that's sole,
Hoping that's where the beginning lies
Since I don't want to believe in goodbyes.
