My soul
Is the colour of
The tip of a fire,
The blood in my veins,
The skin of a cherry.

My soul is stained with anger.
Anger is threatening -
Like a fire.
Anger is dangerous -
Like a bleeding cut.
Anger can be amazing -
Like the taste of a cherry.

Because of the pain it causes,
It motivates people
To change injustices.

Too much
Burns your skin;
Too little
Leaves you defenceless and bleeding;
The right amount
Brings change.
