Jacy and Ruddy continued
their incredible journey,
Running together side by side
yearning to be free.
All the time learning
the value of true Friendship,
Becoming closer and closer
together now in Kinship.
The days went by, then months
and finally Years,
They both stayed together
through happiness, sadness and tears,
And though some were difficult
the times they struggled on,
They found a way in unity to stay
when the day was Gone.
"Jacy my dear friend," Ruddy said
with a cheerful tear. "I'm glad we always
stayed together to the very end!"


And Jacy looked at Ruddy,
her eyes now turning Gray.
For time had caught up to her friend
and now she could not stay.
She wept in sadness but with gladness
knowing these final days,
Were the perfect sight of God's true light
for their friendship in many ways.
So she just replied.
"I understand my friend, I do.
Always know our friendship was true,"
Jacy cried and wiped her eyes.
"Now you're in a better place
and by God's Grace I'll join you too,
some day, my friend. I pray I do."
And JACY lived the rest of her days remembering her dear friend RUDDY.
Always in the light of love, from above;
and so too, died Happily.
