They say misery loves to keep company
Said premise worked out very badly for me
There came a day when I saw the deeply cracks
“I'm sure Pinterest has some D.I.Y hacks!”
I said to myself, a half-baked assessment
Back then, I was bound to lack of investment
Playing a lead role never meant for mankind
A true testament to my grim state of mind

But, I think I pulled off the golden repair
Trust me, I know it is coveted and rare
It's not like there are clear, concise directions
To create beauty out of imperfections
Not illustrated, oral, or typewritten
So I adapted — got to retrofittin'

At first, my bottleneck kept looking quite square
But if I am truly being at all fair
That may have just been a part of the comedown
From sickly substances of purple and brown
Yeah, that was likely a bit of free-falling
Back down to the earth from years of high balling
From long years of smoking up the warning signs
From years of pumping poison straight through my vines

Eventually all those blurry squared lines
That held my bottleneck and broke my designs
Started making their way around — changing times
Somewhat straight from purple and brown onto rhymes
