The Way
I set off on a journey of ages
To brighten up my darkened images
Just as I opened through the pages
Of the book I had published with wages
The one I have earned for ages.
I seek for a way but couldn't find one
Searched for my resources but they were all gone
Begged for hope and was given none
Then I compiled my sorrows and told them "begone"
For nature might have won but we are not done.
I have faced challenges bigger than ever
I won't stop till I get higher
I will find a way even if it takes forever
Nature has played me but I'm a better player
The way is nearer I just have to get closer.
Today is the day, nature has no say
God strengthens my faith every break of the day
It's a new day, no backing down today
I knelt down and decided to pray
I opened my eyes and finally I found a way.
