a complex in me,
one thats got me questioning my sanity,
so caught up in the fog and bull shit,
I forgot all about vanity,
clearly; losing my grip.
An inch away from a slip,
with every interaction
I'm compelled to jump ship.
I'm sinking,
I'm drowning,
the look on your face is constantly frowning.
Emotions running rampant as I realize the inevitable.
Silently I cut the strings I reluctantly attached, because my rips cant be fixed
with an iron-on patch.
So just for today
I accept your false perception of who I am.
