Contemporarily, real is rare
That is the sad truth we have to bear

In this generation true people have vanished
The word "true friend" has been banished
One no longer has friends, one just has many people
For they have proven to be venomous snakes that breed evil

I have an affinity for authenticity
Detest for cockamamie egocentricity
I crave for true friends who are more like family
A world without chameleons will live happily
