no disease
just death.

my pupils are dilating
no drugs
just death.

my eyes are ready
not to see
the death
but the world
once more.

let me see once more,

let me see
the people you love
the world you live in
the dog you pet
and poetry you write.

now;
i see a creak of light
i see a creak of hope
i see a creak of love
and i see you
in the mirror.

looking at yourself
with more love and admiration.

oh! maybe it's my eyes
you are seeing through now
wondering
what made you so beautiful again.
