"the coming tides"
your lips are succulent ambrosia
I bite down ever so gently
your soft laugh
vibrates down your smile
I smother the vortex of our mouths
with a kiss
and myself contained therein
with every kiss
my soul is spilled into you
with our eyes closed
we go through the motions
like primal nature
my hands are like a blind man's
trying to see your form
and absorb you with all the senses
your neck is an unbeaten path
calling me to venture
with my lips like a torch
to warm you along the way
my hands rise up
up the soft elastic landscape
of your sides
your flesh spills out from your neck
and cascades like warm water
down your delicate frame
I kiss you
at the base of heavenly towers
and embark upon
the silken valleys below
lip to lip
I praise you
I serve you
I invoke your little earthquakes
with our eyes closed
we float upon oceans of tangled waves
we hide therein
only drowning in our breathless fervor
with a motion, we are one
rocking with the waves
drifting carelessly along
in wait of the coming tides
