Angels in the Sky
You’ve been staring at the stars lately,
Looking at where they should be.
Can’t tell if they’re shining brightly.
But their presence seems to save you and me.
Nobody knows the other half of your mind,
Intrusions ripping into your life.
Everyday is just a constant night sky,
Solitude feels so lonely now and you don’t know why.
Just like angels in the sky,
Sometimes you see them on a little white cloud.
Just like angels in the sky,
You wish your head would be found.
You drink your tea more than ever lately,
‘Til the cup is dry, nothing except for leaves.
Avoiding the predictions...
