As from ages it was assumed that it was carried by men
Women were supposed to look after their home
Whereas Men were allowed to freely roam

Still required to prove our worth, Don't you think that's awful
No matter how much we try to break the glass ceiling
Still we are accused of gossiping
Actresses earn name, money and fame
But still asked are you going to change your surname?
A baby girl is born
And family expression remains stern
We teach her to act as a lady
Afterwards her whole life becomes a tragedy
We cover up by saying 'Boys will be Boys'
Even if they treat women as toys
We want to end patriarchy
But doesn't wish for anarchy and matriarchy
Stop this hypocrisy
