Sometimes I feel like our time was borrowed.
Right person, wrong time
Feels like time stopped on a dime.
I miss your laugh, and your smile,
it's been a long while.
My heart still beats for you, like yours did for me once.
I wish these thoughts would leave me at once.
Can't think straight, nothing to ponder
why bother?
Eyes as blue as the sky,
The thought makes me high.
Hair like the earths ground,
My hearts bound.
Smiles in place,
Makes my heart race.
You're strong as the roots of an oak tree,
As strong as my feelings can be.
You've made me smile, made me laugh
That's time I never want back.
I love you so,
Please dont let go.
Nothing I say will make you stay,
But, I'll cherish the time we had anyway.
You dont miss me,
And that's fine.
But, you'll always have a place in a heart like mine.
