My heart sighs a prayer of gratitude;
Thank you.
It gets to beat yet another second of a day,
and pump life to this fragile body.
It gets to feel,
and listen to what the flesh desires.
It gets to learn,
and deny the hands many forms of harm.
It gets to relate,
and separate truths from misconceptions.
It gets to be gladdened,
by witnessing the universe's abundance.
Most importantly, it gets to help the eyes to see,
how giving you have been.
