At dawn there is a pretty show that makes us all glow
Downtown a crowd will soon start to grow
Smiling and bustling and just going with the flow
This city see their highs and their lows
Homeless and drugs is seen sadly on the city street
Beating the street and getting their treat
Happiness and joyfulness is seen all around too
Giving creativity to a prosperous day
Sometimes things are just not quite fair or at all right
Maybe one day we will make it more bright
But when the sun goes down and makes the city sparkle
It puts a light in our hopeful hearts
