My life is important to me,
My own sanity comes before all,
But in this case,
Will being sane be worth it?

I know I told you that I’m happy,
However, happiness only lasts so long.
I really don’t want to forget you,
How long before I stop missing you?

How long before those priceless memories
Start fading out of time?
How long before our party-filled nights
Slip out of existence?

I warned you once,
This escapade wasn’t going to last forever.
And now look at the distance
That keeps us apart.

Maybe one day we can reunite,
We could rebuild what crumbled.
But for now,
I’ll have to miss you for a while.
