The door to tomorrow,
Opens in the shadows of today,
So brush aside the path of sorrow,
And kindly make your way...
Through the fields of light and laughter,
To a kingdom not well known,
Follow the dimming light you see,
For you will soon be on your own...

Into the shadows,
Through the mist filled night,
Forward, we must find the dawn,
Onwards, until we find the light...
Stepping quietly,
Shhhhh, make no sounds,
There's bound to be evil,
Still lurking around...

Wake now, you fool,
We've no time to waste,
Quickly now, hurry,
We must leave post haste...
Following the shadows,
Looking for the light,
Seeing the door to tomorrow,
Coming into our sight...

You've made it to the kingdom,
But the shadows lurk close by,
Do yourself a favor,
Don't look them in the eye...
They will make you go mad,
They will change your perception,
Don't invite them in,
They're a deadly infection...

I lost you to the shadows,
When you took a wrong turn,
You lost your footing on the steps,...
