Memories of an Old Book
#WritcoPoemPrompt16
The pages of my old book,
Hold my memories of yesterday,
Every smile, every tear,
Every person who came my way...
Each page is a story of my life,
one page tells of my first love,
Another of an heartbreak,
a third a secret I cannot share...
Whoever lays eyes on it's pages,
Has peaked open my secrets,
For in them are written,
My worst fears, my darkest days
and glorious moments...
And now i write on my end page,
An epilogue to a very long tale,
it's finals words my end story,
As I move on to a new world...
And after i am gone,
Whoever finds my old book,
keep it safe and share no tale,
Let it be preview to your own story...
The pages of your own book,
Will hold your memories of tomorrow,
Every joy, Every pain,
Every person who comes your way ...
