An year that began with joy and zest,
Welcomed an uninvited guest,
Slowly it crawled among all the beings
Contagious by every means,
"Hide behind the mask", it said,
Stay inside and be prepared,
Somewhere in between,
I holded a pen and caffeine,
I emerged as someone new,
Explored the entire view,
Rhythm,words and imaginations,
Kept me ignited in all fluctuations,
It lit my spark high,
Canvased a clear sky,
For my creative wings to fly,
In this new year of hopes,
Here,I pledge to discover all the scopes,
With that ink of mine,
I swear to rise and shine.
