when I, never on purpose, have abandoned you.

Never have I thought you were hurt,
for I were too, broken, of my own battle, a word not to blurt.
Self-centered til now, realized,
oh, how wrong was I!

I offer my shoulders for you to cry,
despite the distance, we still try.
However, you chose the others,
or have others, old and new...

Oh wait, it is I, myself, from the start.
After I came back we were no longer what we are,
but we know we are still and will always be what we are in our hearts.

I am sorry for I lack a lot,
I understand why you weren't there when thy needed you,
but I should've been with you when you were down.

My own pride and ignorance backfired me,
my very mistake, indeed.
