I took her hand
and walked her to the window.
I showed her that one star
the only one visible on the sky.
I told her
that she's like that star.
Lonely but beautiful,
capable of shining solo
and brightening the whole sky.
She looked at me
with her big, sad eyes,
Then I realized
she's finally understood
her life was meaningful.
