Flowers are delicate
In the same way feelings are intimate,
You must treat them with care
Or they will fade from colour to bare,

You must caress and shower love upon them
Or they will become frail and weak,
You must check up on them
Or they will feel lost and forgotten,

You must cherish the happiness together
Or you will not handle the pain later,
You must be the one to strengthen their roots
Or they will turn from solid to dilute,

Flowers are delicate
In the same way feelings are intimate,
You must provide them with light
Or they will cry in the night,

You must shower them with energy
Or they will fade really quickly,
You must laugh and make conversation
Or they will feel small and unimportant,

You must tell them they are beautiful
Or they will feel ugly and insecure,
You must never remind them that this is temporary
Or they will leave you sooner than you want,
